Catherine Rowan - from complexity to coherence

For decades I've contemplated and questioned leadership - through corporate life, motherhood, entrepreneurship, spiritual communities and through profound personal transformation.

Over time I came to understand that the leadership I value most - both in others and within myself - is rooted not in external authority but in personal sovereignty: power sourced from within, rather than without.

At seventy, my work is grounded in both lived experience and decades of professional and spiritual inquiry. Here are a few words about my background and approach:

My early career unfolded in Human Resources and later, in management consulting with KPMG in London. I understood hierarchy and professional success from the inside. I also came to understood burnout, over-identification with achievement, and the hidden costs of externally defined success.

At the same time, profound challenges in my personal life initiated a deeper journey - one that gradually transformed my understanding of power, embodiment, relationship and identity. These led me down a path of personal and spiritual growth. What first appeared as crisis, became initiation into a different way of being.

Psychotherapy, Taoist internal practice, and immersion in classical Tantric traditions reshaped my understanding of authority, sexuality, leadership, and embodiment.

My work today is informed by non-dual realisation and Feminine teachings within the Sri Vidya stream of Tantra — a lineage that approaches the Feminine not as gender identity, but as the generative intelligence of reality itself.

I also value
Human Design as a sophisticated map of individual energetic structure and relational dynamics. It is one of the key frameworks I use to support clients in aligning their leadership, relationships and work with their deeper nature.

I mentor women and men who recognise that awakening must mature into embodied responsibility — in leadership, intimacy, aging, and cultural participation. Much of this work unfolds through relational patterns, because power is never abstract. It reveals itself in how we love, conflict, create, and lead.

If you are navigating spiritual disillusionment, identity transition, or the collapse of inherited models of leadership and meaning, I may be the mentor you have been seeking. Together we uncover the deeper coherence beneath complexity.

My stance is:

* Intimacy requires emotional maturity.

* Power requires discernment.

* Awakening requires embodiment.

I combine modern transformational processes with age old spiritual wisdom. In my unique approach:

* Human Design becomes strategic clarity.

* Tantra becomes lived metaphysics

* Aging becomes initiation.

* Beauty becomes sovereignty.

I work privately with a small number of clients at a time. If you feel drawn to this work and would like to explore a mentoring relationship, your first step is to book an initial conversation.

Additional areas of work: I also support leaders in aligning outer presentation with inner authority through personal colour and style work, grounded in energetic coherence rather than performance or image construction.
